  • Flexibility and trust, and ease of working with an artist
  • Amazing experience and unique enjoyment for you and your guests

What to Value in a Wedding Painting Package?

  • Customized contract and standardized wedding painting fees
  • Unique, framed oil painting of your wedding event on Belgian linen canvas
  • Affordable out-of-town travel when needed based on mileage or airfare plus overnight accommodation
  • Free-use, hi res digital image provided for printing or ordering gift-canvas copies or Thank You notes

I want to get the best reflection of your event, so I'll set up my easel, light, and paints, conveniently to your floor-plan, a couple of hours before your event starts.

Because my process starts early with the background elements, I am able to focus on you and your guests once you arrive and capture the desired moments and people "in action" during the event. And this is while your guests enjoy watching the whole process!

What's in the live event painting process?

(See video clip of painting process here) I paint for 5 hours at the event. Because of that amount of painting time, I finish some paintings then and there. But when there are more elements to capture, with larger sizes for instance, I like to take a little more time with the painting details, and then I'll complete the painting during the following 3 weeks.

I send proofs by email. When you are happy with it, I consider the painting finished.  After I get your approval, I sign and deliver the work in a professional wood frame, because I want you to be able to hang it right away.

What does a Wedding Painting cost?  Fees and sizes - framed for you.

These one of a kind oil paintings are priced according to size. Every painting is delivered in an attractive, gold-toned frame, because finished artwork deserves the best first impression. I choose frames that add 4 to 5 inches per side to the canvas sizes.

  • 24x36 inches-  Grand size for lots of design and decorative elements. Includes couple, ornate interiors, flowers, décor, bouquet, and up to 24 additional figures.  $5500.
  • 18x24 inches-  Gorgeous size (most popular size) Large canvas. Includes couple plus ornate interiors, flowers, décor, bouquet, and up to 12 additional figures and mixed crowd.  $4500.
  • 16x20 inches-  Beautiful size. Includes Couple, indoor or outdoor events, scenery, event décor, bouquet and up to 6 additional  figures and general crowd.  $3500.
  • 12x16 inches-  Intimate size.  This package is available on a limited basis. Some restrictions apply for out of town weddings. $2500.

*Best way to arrange a wedding painting?

Set up a consultation call.

You want to have your questions answered and be sure your chosen artist is a good fit. You deserve the time to get to know who they are!

What about Wedding Artist's Travel Expense Fees?

Driving expenses for destination wedding paintings

  1. For local and neighboring area locations, travel is already included in each package price.
  2. Basic mileage expense (.65 per mile) is added for Round Trip driving over 65 miles.
  3. If over 200 miles Round Trip driving from Roswell GA studio, a night of lodging is required.

Flying expenses for destination wedding paintings

Yes! I travel often and love painting at destination weddings! Airfare and lodging are arranged separately at time of event-painting booking for international or cross-country travel to events.

  1. Driving Round Trip over 400 miles from Atlanta, GA normally requires airfare - and one night of lodging.
  2. A second night accommodation may be required when flight time exceeds 3 hours, each way.

What about After-Event Paintings? Using photos of your prior event...

You can easily get an After-Event painting, if the artist is not available on your date or maybe your wedding already took place... because you can still commemorate at any time in your journey. If you have several good photos, but missed the opportunity to have a special day painted from life, I can recreate that "Live Event" feeling for you with my signature quick, loose painterly style.

If I'm not available on your particular date, consider an after-event painting instead!

Please request a consultation to get more information about an After Event painting.
